All-Electric Servo Travelling Saws
Boston Matthews design and manufacture a range of All-Electric Servo Controlled Travelling Saws for the accurate and repeatable sawing of extruded tubes, pipes and profiles.
The All Electric Servo Saw automatically detects and matches the extrusion line speed before initiating the sawing operation.
The entire sawing operation is controlled via servo and electric (no pneumatics) and provides the highest levels of precision accuracy.
The levels of accuracy are so high that any need for any secondary off line cutting operation is completely eliminated and therefore savings are made by reducing labor costs and scrap levels.
The Saws are controlled via a PLC Touch-Screen for direct number input and setting.
The All-Electric Saws are available in a range of sizes to meet with the exact requirements of the extrusion operation.
Swarf Collection is also available.
The "vanishing" saw carriage table greatly reduces the overall footprint thus saving valuable production space whilst providing a safer working environment.
