Crosslinked Polyethylene (PEX) use has grown in popularity since its introduction in the 1960’s and is now used extensively around the world for heating, plumbing and snow melting applications. PEX is extremely flexible, has very low maintenance levels and is easy to fit.

Boston Matthews understands the process of PEX extrusion and has designed and manufactured complete systems from mono-layer to 5 Layer Systems.

CO-EXTRUSION TECHNOLOGY

Boston Matthew has manufactured co-extruders for more than 40 years and has extensive experience within this much specialised area.

Small and compact in design with ‘strain-free’ height adjustment makes the co-extruders easy to manoeuvre for precision alignment. A small footprint reduces the size of the ‘extruder’ cluster saving valuable production space and improving tube quality.
